1. Sowing Method: Sow seeds directly 0.5–1 cm deep into deeply loosened, stone-free, soft sandy loam soil mixed thoroughly with fine organic compost.
2. Sunlight Requirements: Position your cultivation beds or containers in an open space that receives 5–6 hours of direct, bright daily sunlight.
3. Watering Schedule: Water regularly and uniformly to keep the soil evenly moist; dry spells followed by sudden heavy watering can cause the roots to split.
4. Plant Spacing: Thin out young seedlings early to maintain a distance of 5–8 cm between plants, giving the roots adequate space to expand underground.
5. Harvesting: Harvest promptly when the root shoulders reach about an inch in diameter and show strong, rich coloration at the soil line.
