2. Sunlight Requirements: Position the vine in an open, wide garden spot that receives a full 6–8 hours of intense, direct daily sunlight.
3. Watering Schedule: Maintain a steady watering routine to keep the soil consistently damp; sharply reduce watering once melons reach full size to concentrate sugars and prevent rind splitting.
4. Spacing Management: Provide ample ground area for trailing, maintaining a distance of 1.5–2 meters between growing vines so they can expand freely.
5. Harvesting Indicator: Harvest when the curly tendril closest to the fruit stem turns completely brown and dry, and the spot resting on the ground turns from white to a creamy yellow.
