Brinjal PPR

1. Nursery Raising: Sow seeds 0.5 cm deep in nursery trays or small pots, and transplant seedlings outdoors when they grow 4–5 inches tall.
2. Sunlight Requirements: Set up your cultivation beds or pots in an open space that receives a minimum of 6 hours of bright, direct daily sunlight.
3. Soil Preparation: Plant in nutrient-rich, deeply tilled, well-draining sandy loam soil mixed thoroughly with well-rotted organic manure or compost.
4. Watering Schedule: Provide regular, moderate watering at the base to keep soil evenly moist; avoid waterlogging to protect roots from damping-off.
5. Harvesting Habit: Harvest brinjals regularly using pruners when they are glossy, firm, and medium-sized before the skin loses its shine and turns dull.
